KulturLegi - Small budget, full program

Do you enjoy concerts and other cultural events, but are on a tight budget? Then the KulturLegi is the right thing for you. It gives you a 50% discount on admission to Moods and a discount of between 30 and 70% on over 3'600 other events. How do you get this card? Read more here.

What is the KulturLegi?

The KulturLegi is a personal ID card with a photo and is valid for one year. It gives people on a tight budget a discount of 30 - 70% on offers in the areas of sport, culture and education. Children aged 5 and over need their own card.

Where can I use the KulturLegi?

The KulturLegi can be used at 3,600 events in the regions of Aargau, Basel, Bern, Graubünden, Fribourg, Neuchâtel, Schaffhausen, Solothurn, St. Gallen-Appenzell, Thurgau, Vaud, Jura, Zurich and Central Switzerland. You can find details at https://www.kulturlegi.ch/

Who is eligible?

People living at or below the subsistence level are eligible. You are directly entitled with one of the following confirmations:
  • Social assistance and asylum welfare
  • AHV/IV supplementary benefits
  • Scholarship
  • Wage garnishment
People with a low income without one of the above-mentioned confirmations can have your application checked on the basis of your total income. To do this, you submit your last final state and municipal tax bill.

How much does the KulturLegi cost?

The KulturLegi is free for the first year. If you want to extend the KulturLegi, it costs CHF 20. For two or more adults living as a family or couple in the same household, the total cost is CHF 30.

How do I get the KulturLegi discount at Moods?

When buying tickets online, you can simply select the "KulturLegi" category. You can then show your KulturLegi at the box office and receive your discount.
